Her last confirmed sighting occurred around 8:30 PM on Wednesday, when she was observed interacting with the hostel warden and other individuals. The following morning, when Savyashree failed to emerge from her room by 11:30 AM, concerned hostel staff repeatedly knocked on her door.
After receiving no response, the warden peered through the window and spotted a rope inside the room. The hostel guard subsequently forced the door open, discovering Savyashree's lifeless body. The immediate scene revealed no suicide note, prompting authorities to expand their investigative approach.
