The prestigious institution has enrolled 28 international research scholars for PhD courses this year, which is the highest number in its history so far. This figure represents a substantial jump from the 15 international scholars who took admission in the previous year.

The university has awarded seven PhD degrees to international scholars this year, which is the highest number conferred in a single year in the university's annals.
