The Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), based in Thrissur, has officially published the crucial examination timetable for the upcoming Seventh Semester Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Degree Supplementary Examinations. These exams, conducted under the 2017 academic scheme, are slated to be held in December 2025 and January 2026. Seventh Semester Theory Exam Schedule Detailed

According to the official notification released by the university, the theory examinations for the supplementary batch will span from December 29, 2025, to January 7, 2026. All theory papers are scheduled for the forenoon session, commencing at 9:30 AM and concluding at 12:30 PM. The subjects to be covered in this series include core pharmaceutical disciplines such as Instrumental Methods of Analysis, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, and Novel Drug Delivery System.

The detailed day-wise schedule is as follows: Instrumental Methods of Analysis on Monday, December 29, 2025; Industrial Pharmacy on Wednesday, December 31, 2025; Pharmacy Practice on Monday, January 5, 2026; and Novel Drug Delivery System on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. KUHS has advised all candidates to double-check their exam dates and subjects and to arrive at their designated examination centres well before time.

Fourth Semester Practical Exams: Zone-Wise Conduct in November

In a parallel update, the university has also rolled out the timetable for the Fourth Semester B.Pharm Degree Practical Examinations, scheduled for November 2025. These exams are applicable for both regular and supplementary students. To ensure a smooth and organized process, KUHS will conduct these practicals in a zone-wise manner across its numerous affiliated pharmacy colleges in Kerala.

The practical examinations encompass key subjects like Medicinal Chemistry I, Physical Pharmaceutics II, Pharmacology I, and Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry I. The colleges have been grouped under specific zones, primarily BDF Zone and ACE Zone, with each college assigned a specific date range between December 29 and 31, 2025, for their practicals. For instance, colleges like College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pariyaram, and Crescent College of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Kannur will hold Medicinal Chemistry I and Physical Pharmaceutics II practicals in the BDF Zone window.

Similarly, in the ACE Zone, institutions such as Al-Shifa College of Pharmacy and Govt. Medical College, Kozhikode, will conduct Pharmacology I and Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry I practicals during the same period. The university has made it clear that students must appear only at their allotted centre and on the date assigned to their college and batch.

The Controller of Examinations at KUHS has issued clear directives to the principals of all affiliated pharmacy colleges. They have been instructed to ensure the wide circulation of this timetable among their student bodies.
