For the Medical Sciences & Engineering program, mandatory subjects include Mathematics along with two others from Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. For the Chemistry program, applicants must have studied Chemistry with two additional subjects such as Biology, Mathematics, or Physics.
Academic performance thresholds are set at a minimum of 60% marks for general category candidates and 55% for SC, ST, and PWD categories.

The application fee is Rs. 500 for SC, ST, PWD, and Female category applicants, and Rs. 1000 for all other candidates. Each applicant is permitted to submit only one application. Upon successful submission, an acknowledgement page and application form can be downloaded for record-keeping.
