The institute secured the overall second position and the silver medal at the 14.0 edition of the meet, hosted by IIT Patna. This impressive feat ends a six-year wait for a top finish, bringing immense pride to the campus.

Represented by its dynamic Science and Technology Council under the Students' Gymkhana, IIT Kanpur's contingent demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the intense competition. Students tackled complex, real-world problem statements provided by leading industry corporations and national organizations, showcasing their technical acumen, creativity, and innovative problem-solving abilities.

The teams delivered standout performances across a diverse range of challenges, securing multiple podium finishes that were crucial for the overall ranking.

Dominant Performances Across Key Challenges

The victory was built on strong results in several specific problem statements. IIT Kanpur teams clinched first place in the challenges presented by Eternal and StemVibe. Adding to the medal tally, the team working on the ISRO Geospatial problem statement secured a second-place finish.

Further strengthening their score, Kanpur's teams earned third-place honours in problem statements from prominent names like Ebullient Securities, Arista Networks, LAT Aerospace, and GDAI. These consistent top-three finishes across various domains were instrumental in achieving the overall runner-up position.

Leadership and Team Effort Behind the Success

This collective accomplishment was steered by Tanush Goel, the General Secretary of Science and Technology. Special recognition was given to the contingent leaders whose relentless efforts guided the team. Trijal Srivastava served as the Contingent Leader, ably supported by Deputy Contingent Leaders Rachit Choudhary and Mayank Agrawal.

In the final tally, IIT Kanpur amassed 2951.93 points to seal the second spot. The overall championship was won by IIT Kharagpur with 3438.92 points. The top five institutes were rounded out by IIT Indore, IIT BHU (Varanasi), and IIT Madras, highlighting the fiercely competitive nature of the event.
