Delegation Details and Institutional Strengths

The Canadian delegation was led by distinguished figures, including Dr. Michael Benarroch, president and vice-chancellor; Dr. Peter Nickerson, dean of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences; Dr. Josée G. Lavoie, dean of the College of Community and Global Health; Dr. James Blanchard, executive director of the Institute for Global Health; and Dr. Marissa Becker, director of Technical Collaborations at the Institute for Global Public Health. On the Indian side, Prof. Manindra Agarwal, director of IIT Kanpur, warmly received the delegation and provided comprehensive insights into the institute's academic and research prowess.

Prof. Agarwal highlighted key initiatives such as the upcoming Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology and the Kotak School of Sustainability, which are poised to drive advancements in healthcare and environmental solutions.
