IIMT University Achieves QS I-GAUGE Diamond Rating

Bareilly: IIMT University has received the Overall Diamond Rating in its first-ever assessment under the QS I-GAUGE University Rating system, a higher education evaluation framework in India. The university secured Diamond ratings in faculty quality, employability, and diversity and inclusion. It received Platinum ratings in teaching and learning, entrepreneurship, facilities, and governance and structure, while social responsibility and research were rated Gold.

Chancellor's Statement

Chancellor Yogesh Mohan Gupta said the recognition reflected the institution’s commitment to quality education, innovation, research and student-centric learning, crediting faculty, staff, students and stakeholders for the achievement.

Strategic Partnership with Google Cloud

The university also announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud. In the World University Rankings for Innovation, IIMT ranked first in India and fourth globally in the entrepreneurial culture and ecosystem category, securing first position in four categories and second in 10 others nationally.

Other Rankings and Achievements

The university was ranked second nationally in Education World Rankings 2026 and also featured in R-World Institutional Rankings, Employability and Startup Ecosystem Rankings, Research Excellence Rankings, and India Academia Rankings 2026. It topped UP in IIRF private university rankings for 2024 and 2025, and holds a 4-star rating from the Ministry of Education’s Institutions Innovation Council.
