Operating under the institute's Parmarth Social Club, the 'Muskaan' programme mobilises a dedicated force of over 100 volunteer students. These young engineers channel their efforts into a systematic process, from gathering winter wear to personally distributing it among the needy. The drive is a concerted effort to offer tangible relief to impoverished and helpless families ahead of the winter season each year.
Professor Vineet Kansal, the Director of IET Lucknow, highlighted the scale and impact of this year's effort. "Every year, before the onset of winter, to provide relief to poor and helpless families, students undertake this initiative," he stated. "This year, assistance reached nearly 400 families, all of whom benefited from this noble initiative."
