In a significant move to enhance international academic cooperation, Dibrugarh University has officially entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with REAL ENTO, a distinguished unit of Kasetsart University located in Bangkok, Thailand. This strategic agreement, formalized on March 6, is a key component of the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM USHA) initiative, a flagship program by the Government of India dedicated to elevating higher education institutions into globally recognized centers of excellence.

The signing event took place at the facilities of REAL ENTO, which stands for Research and Extension on Applied Life Sciences of Entomology, at Kasetsart University. The occasion was graced by senior faculty members and researchers from both academic bodies. Representing Dibrugarh University was Prof. Dipsikha Bora, the dean of the faculty of biological sciences. On the Thai side, the delegation was led by Prof. Theeraphap, the director of REAL ENTO, accompanied by faculty members Dr. Chris Daeyun Kim, Dr. Ratchadawan Ngoen Klan, and Dr. Amonrat Panthawong. Additionally, representatives from the Research and Lifelong Learning Centre of Kasetsart University, along with research scholars from both institutions, were present to witness this milestone.
