Historically, the WBJEE was conducted in April: on April 27 in 2024, April 28 in 2023, and April 30 in 2022. Despite this shift, board officials assure that the delay will not impact the overall admission process. They clarified, "Result publication will not be affected because, in previous years, we had to wait for the seat matrix before starting counselling. The timeline has been adjusted accordingly to ensure smooth proceedings."
Application Process and Exam Schedule
Prospective candidates can begin their online applications starting Tuesday, with the submission window remaining open until April 5. The examination will be conducted in two sessions on May 24: Mathematics from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by Physics and Chemistry from 2 pm to 4 pm. This structured schedule allows for adequate breaks and efficient administration.
