The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) successfully conducted the LT Grade Teacher recruitment examination 2025 across multiple centres in Gorakhpur on Saturday, December 21. The crucial test, held in two separate shifts, saw a massive turnout of aspirants from across the state vying for teaching positions.

The examination was organised at six prominent institutions in Gorakhpur under the supervision of the district administration. All logistical and security arrangements were confirmed to be in place by Saturday evening. The designated centres were Deendayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Madan Mohan Malaviya Technical University, Digvijaynath Postgraduate College, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate College, Digvijaynath Postgraduate College (DVN PG College), and St. Andrews Postgraduate College.

As per the official schedule, the examination was held in two daily shifts. The first shift ran from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, while the second shift commenced at 3:00 pm and concluded at 5:00 pm. Candidates were strictly advised to follow the reporting timings mentioned on their admit cards, as late entry was not permitted once the exam began.

A significant influx of candidates was observed in Gorakhpur from Saturday evening itself. Examinees travelling from various districts led to increased activity near railway stations, bus terminals, and temporary night shelters. Many candidates opted to stay overnight in waiting halls and other accommodations arranged within the city.

The local administration ensured smooth coordination, focusing on effective crowd management and traffic flow to facilitate the examination process. Candidates appearing for the second shift were specifically advised to reach their assigned centres well before 3:00 pm and carry all necessary documents, including their admit card and a valid photo ID, to avoid any last-minute complications.
