In a remarkable academic achievement, Nimay Purohit from Rajkot has emerged as the sole candidate from Gujarat to secure a perfect 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Main 2024. Increasing Competition and Higher Cut-Offs

Pathway to JEE Advanced and IIT Admissions
Of the students who appeared for the April session — which was offered in 13 languages including Gujarati — the NTA has cleared approximately 2.5 lakh candidates to appear for the JEE Advanced examination. This final test, scheduled for May, serves as the exclusive gateway for admissions to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

State-Specific Admission Procedures
While national counselling for engineering admissions begins in June, Gujarat's technical colleges will continue to utilize the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for state-specific placements.
