Patna Schools Celebrate Student Excellence in Sports and Academics

In a series of events highlighting student development, educational institutions in Patna recently organized ceremonies to honor achievements and prepare students for future endeavors.

Loyola High School Sports Academy Honors Athletic Achievements

Loyola High School's Sports Academy conducted its sports closing ceremony, where students were recognized for their outstanding performances across multiple disciplines. Participants in football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, and cricket received certificates acknowledging their dedication, hard work, and exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season.

Vice-principal Rev Bro Arogyam addressed the gathering, emphasizing the critical importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance both in sports and in life. The event was attended by principal Rev Bro Johnson V George, sports coordinator Kaushlendra Kumar, and all sports coaches, who collectively celebrated the talent and sustained effort demonstrated by students.

Don Bosco Academy Hosts Orientation for Class IV Students

Don Bosco Academy organized a comprehensive orientation program specifically for Class IV students. The program commenced with the traditional lighting of a lamp by school director Alfred DG Rosario, principal Mary Alphonsa, and vice-principal Eric De John Rosario.

Parents, students, and teachers of the academy were present for the occasion. The program featured a welcome song performed by students, after which the principal and vice-principal introduced the teaching staff and informed attendees about school rules and regulations. The children appeared delighted as they explored the playground and open campus, met their new teachers, and sought their blessings for the academic year ahead.

AN College Conducts Pre-Placement Talk with Gandhi Fellowship

The department of political science at AN College, Patna, in collaboration with the PPU placement cell and Gandhi Fellowship, organized a pre-placement talk on Thursday. Nasir Hassan from Gandhi Fellowship provided students with detailed information about the 23-month experiential fellowship program, which focuses on building self, system, and society.

Hassan encouraged students to engage with communities and government systems to address complex social challenges. Principal Prof Rekha Rani appreciated the initiative and urged students to participate in such fellowships to develop leadership skills, social commitment, and a deeper understanding of governance and community issues.

The program was chaired by Prof Binod Kumar Jha and coordinated by Mukesh Kumar Jha, with a large number of students and faculty members in attendance.
