With the high-stakes medical entrance examination scheduled to take place in just a few weeks, the agency has moved to address growing concerns among students and parents.
Fraudulent Channels Exploiting Student Anxiety
Acting on numerous complaints from vigilant students and educators, the NTA revealed that several unverified and malicious channels are falsely advertising access to NEET UG 2026 question papers. These fraudulent entities are attempting to capitalize on the anxiety and pressure faced by aspirants in the lead-up to the exam. The agency emphasized that such claims are entirely baseless and are designed to deceive candidates.
The NTA has made it clear that strict legal action is being initiated against individuals and groups involved in spreading this misinformation. Authorities are actively working to identify and prosecute those responsible for these scams, which not only mislead students but also undermine the integrity of the examination process.

In an official post on the social media platform X, the NTA strongly advised students to depend exclusively on updates provided through its official website and verified social media handles. The agency reassured candidates that all critical information regarding the NEET UG 2026 exam will be communicated through these authorized channels only.
