National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets have brought laurels by winning several medals at a rigorous 10-day training camp held recently. The camp, designed to instill discipline, leadership, and physical fitness among the youth, saw enthusiastic participation from cadets across various schools.
Camp Highlights
The training camp included a variety of activities such as drill exercises, weapon handling, map reading, and first aid. Cadets were also given sessions on personality development and national integration. The camp culminated in a competition where cadets demonstrated their acquired skills.
Medal Winners
Several cadets stood out with their exceptional performance. Among them, Cadet Rohan Sharma won the gold medal in the shooting competition, while Cadet Priya Singh secured silver in the obstacle course. The team from Delhi Public School won the overall championship trophy.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of trained officers and instructors who ensured that each cadet received proper guidance. The NCC aims to develop character, comradeship, and a spirit of adventure among the youth.
