Nagpur Students Deliver Stellar Performance in JEE Main Session 1

The results for JEE Main Session 1, declared on Tuesday morning, revealed an outstanding performance by students from Nagpur. Approximately 17 students from the city achieved an exceptional 99.9 percentile and above in this highly competitive national engineering entrance examination.

Impressive Percentile Distribution Highlights City's Strength

Beyond the top tier, nearly 30 students secured 99.8 percentile and above, demonstrating consistent excellence. Furthermore, 60 students crossed the 99.5 percentile mark, and a total of 108 students achieved 99 percentile and above. This collective achievement reinforces Nagpur's reputation as a consistent performer in national competitive exams, with city students making their mark at the highest level.

Among the standout performers is Madhav Notani, who secured an exceptional score, adding to the city's strong showing and exemplifying the academic prowess of Nagpur's youth.

Top Scorers Share Their Preparation Strategies and Aspirations

Yash Raut, who scored an impressive 99.98 percentile, described the exam as "okayish" and noted that his score aligned with his mock test performances. With a clear dream of securing admission to IIT Bombay, Yash emphasized the importance of balancing board studies with JEE preparation. He is now preparing for Session 2 in April and plans to begin focused preparation for JEE Advanced after completing his Class 12 board examinations. To unwind, he listens to music and practises yoga.

Palak Jaipuriya, another high-achiever with 99.98 percentile, expressed satisfaction with her performance. After completing her board syllabus, she dedicated nearly a month to board exam preparation before shifting focus entirely to JEE Main from December. She followed a disciplined schedule, studying from 8am to 8pm with short breaks to interact with friends or go for a jog. Securing admission to IIT Bombay remains her primary goal.

Yugal Ade, also among the high-rankers, expressed happiness over his performance and credited his mentors and family for their unwavering support. He highlighted that rigorous training, mock tests, and structured study material played a key role in his successful preparation.

With Session 2 of JEE Main scheduled for April, aspirants are now aiming to improve their scores and secure stronger ranks for admission to premier engineering institutes across the country.
