MP Board Answer Sheet Evaluation Commences in Indore to Meet Tight Deadlines
Even as the Madhya Pradesh board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 continue across the state, the evaluation of answer sheets has officially begun in Indore. The process started on Sunday, despite it being a holiday, highlighting the stringent academic schedule this year. This proactive step aims to ensure that results are declared promptly without any delays.
First Phase of Assessment Underway for Key Subjects
On Sunday, the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets in economics, physics, and English commenced at a designated centre in the city. In this initial phase, nearly 35,000 answer sheets for these subjects have arrived in Indore for assessment. Officials reported that the work began at 1 pm under close supervision, with daily monitoring conducted at the state level through a digital application. This app meticulously records the number of copies checked by each examiner, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Each evaluator has been assigned up to 60 answer sheets per day to manage the workload effectively. More than 250 evaluators from the district have already undergone specialized training for this first phase of the assessment process. A second round of training is scheduled from March 1 to accommodate additional teachers, as regular examinations are still ongoing and only a limited number of educators are currently available for evaluation duties.
Commitment to Accuracy and Timelines
Babita Haryani, the in-charge of the evaluation centre, emphasized the department's dedication to maintaining accuracy and adhering to strict timelines. "We have completed the training of over 250 evaluators, and the process has begun in a systematic manner. Our primary goal is to complete all evaluation work by March 15 so that students receive their results without any unnecessary delay," she stated. This commitment reflects the board's focus on supporting students during this critical academic period.
Parental Concerns Over Power Maintenance
Meanwhile, concerns have arisen among parents regarding scheduled power maintenance during examination days. Many have criticized these plans, arguing that uninterrupted electricity is essential for students preparing for and taking their exams. This issue adds another layer of complexity to the already challenging examination season, prompting calls for better coordination to avoid disruptions.
