Zia Fathima, a student from VKP Khalid Haji Memorial Madrassathul Rahmaniya VHSS in Padanna, Kasaragod district, suffers from vasculitis. This rare medical condition causes her immune system to attack her own blood vessels, resulting in significant physical pain.
Doctors strictly advised against travel for Zia, warning that it could create life-threatening risks. Despite her intense discomfort, the student expressed a powerful desire to compete at the prestigious state-level cultural festival.
Special Permission for Online Participation
School authorities brought Zia's situation to the attention of festival organizers. Recognizing her determination, the education department issued a special order allowing her to participate remotely.
Zia will compete in the Arabic poster designing competition scheduled for 11 AM on Saturday at venue 17, CMS HSS. Officials will monitor and evaluate her performance through video conferencing technology.
