Maharashtra and Haryana each contributed two perfect scorers, and one candidate each hailed from Chandigarh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and Gujarat. In terms of category representation among the perfect scorers, one candidate belongs to the general-EWS category and one to OBC-NCL. Notably, no candidates from SC or ST categories featured in the 100 percentile group, continuing a trend observed in previous years. On the gender front, there is no female candidate with a perfect score this year, marking a shift from 2025 when at least one girl was among the top scorers. The highest-scoring female candidate is Telangana's Mallavarapu Aasna, who achieved a near-perfect 99.998 percentile.

The qualification data for JEE (Advanced) provides a detailed snapshot of candidate distribution across categories. 96,873 candidates from the general category have qualified, followed by 67,597 from OBC, 37,522 from SC, 25,009 from EWS, and 18,790 from ST, summing to the total of 2,50,182. This selection process is extremely competitive, as JEE (Advanced) serves as the sole filter for approximately 17,000 IIT seats, making it one of the toughest entrance exams globally.
