Himachal Governor Kavinder Gupta Visits Remote School in Kangra

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta visited the Government Primary School at Gujrehra in Kangra district on Wednesday. During the visit, he interacted with students, teachers, and education officials to understand the ground realities in rural areas of the state.

The governor received feedback on the academic environment, infrastructure facilities, and challenges faced by schools in remote regions. He encouraged students to pursue their education with dedication and confidence.

Gupta emphasized that providing quality education to every child, regardless of geographical difficulties, should remain a top priority for every government. He stressed the importance of better classrooms, proper sanitation facilities, digital learning resources, and a positive learning environment in government schools located in rural areas.

The governor expressed happiness over the progress made by Himachal Pradesh in the education sector at the national level. Referring to a performance report issued by the Union Ministry of Education, he noted that the state secured sixth position in the country and third among states, showing significant improvement in education.
