Gurugram University has commenced the online admission process for its undergraduate programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Aspiring students can submit their applications for preferred courses on the university's official website until May 30.
Seat Availability and Course Offerings
For the upcoming session, the university is offering approximately 670 seats across 15 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework. A university official stated that these courses are designed to provide students with more industry-oriented and skill-based education in emerging sectors.
Some of the key courses available for admission include Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Management Studies (Industry Integrated-Travel and Tourism), BSc Animation and Multimedia, integrated MA Journalism and Mass Communication, BA Yoga, and BSc (Hons) Clinical Psychology, which is approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Vice-Chancellor's Vision
Vice-Chancellor Sanjay Kaushik emphasized that the courses have been planned keeping in mind the evolving industry requirements. "Connecting the new generation with skills and innovation is our priority," he said. "Employment-oriented education will help students become professionally competent and industry-ready." He further added that the university is committed to enhancing the quality of higher education while introducing programmes aligned with future career opportunities.
New Professional Courses Announced
The university has also announced the launch of six new professional courses before the upcoming session. These include integrated MSc Life Sciences, BSc Mathematics and Data Science, MSc Forensic Science, Executive MBA, BCom (Global), and MSc Quantum Technology. According to university authorities, the newly introduced programmes will have an intake capacity ranging between 20 and 60 seats. These courses will combine theoretical learning with practical and research-oriented exposure.
Future Expansion Plans
The Vice-Chancellor also revealed that Gurugram University plans to introduce more employment-linked and technology-driven programmes in the coming years as part of its academic expansion strategy.
