The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has officially published the provisional answer key for the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE) 2025-26. This crucial document, released on January 5, 2026, allows candidates who appeared in the Tier 1 examination to verify their responses and calculate their probable scores.
How to Access the EMRS Answer Key and Response Sheet
All teaching and non-teaching candidates can now download their individual answer keys and OMR response sheets from the official portal, nests.tribal.gov.in. To access the documents, applicants must navigate to the Recruitment section and find the ESSE Schedule 2025 link. After selecting the appropriate answer key link for their specific post, they need to log in using their roll number and date of birth. The PDF files will then be available on-screen for downloading and printing, which candidates are advised to keep safely for future reference in the selection process.
Exam Details and Marking Scheme
The EMRS ESSE 2025 was conducted as an offline OMR-based examination across three days: December 13, 14, and 21, 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,267 vacancies for various positions. These posts include Principal, Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Hostel Warden, Female Staff Nurse, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Lab Attendant.
For score calculation, the official marking scheme awards one mark for each correct answer. However, candidates must note that there is a negative marking of one-third of a mark for every incorrect response. Using the answer key, aspirants can now estimate their Tier 1 scores, which will help them gauge their performance and prepare for subsequent selection rounds.
Objection Process and Next Stages of Selection
NESTS has also initiated an online objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answer in the provisional key. It is important to note that all challenges must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 per question. Only objections submitted with the payment will be reviewed by the authorities.
The selection process for these posts is multi-staged. After Tier 1, candidates will face subject-specific knowledge tests in Tier 2. Additionally, applicants for the Principal post will undergo a personal interaction round. The release of the answer key is a critical step, enabling candidates to cross-check their performance and strategize for the upcoming phases of this major recruitment drive conducted for tribal students' education.
All further updates and official notifications regarding the EMRS ESSE 2025 recruitment will be exclusively available on the NESTS portal.
