CBSE Notice for CTET 2026: Request OMR and Calculation Sheet

CBSE Announces Key Facility for CTET 2026 Candidates: OMR and Calculation Sheet Access

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a significant notification for all individuals who participated in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 (CTET). Following the declaration of the CTET 2026 results, the board has now introduced a provision enabling candidates to formally request their calculation sheet along with a duplicate copy of their OMR answer sheet.

CTET 2026 Result Declaration and Background

CBSE officially declared the CTET Result 2026 on March 30, 2026, through its dedicated portal, ctet.nic.in. Examinees can access their digital scorecards by entering their roll number and date of birth. This result announcement came after the board meticulously concluded the comprehensive answer key review procedure. Prior to this, CBSE had publicly displayed scanned OMR sheets and provisional answer keys, actively soliciting and addressing objections from candidates nationwide.

The CTET 2026 examination was administered across India on February 7 and 8, 2026, witnessing an overwhelming registration of over 2.5 million aspiring teachers. The test was structured into two distinct papers: Paper 1 for candidates aiming to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 for those targeting Classes 6 to 8.

The application must clearly mention the candidate's roll number, full name, and complete postal address. These identical details should also be legibly written on the reverse side of the bank draft to ensure proper processing.

Essential Guidelines and Instructions

  1. Applications submitted after the May 1, 2026 deadline will be summarily rejected.
  2. Incomplete applications or those lacking the requisite fee will not be processed.
  3. OMR sheets and calculation sheets will be dispatched solely to individual candidates via speed post.
