The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration process for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission (ICAR AIEEA (PG) 2026) and the All India Competitive Examination for Junior Research Fellowship/Senior Research Fellowship (AICE-JRF/SRF). These examinations are designed for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programs in agricultural and allied sciences across India. Conducted on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, these tests are among the most significant agriculture education assessments in the country. Through these exams, candidates can secure admission to Master’s and PhD programs for the academic session 2026-27.
Registration Details
Students can submit their applications online through the NTA ICAR official portal. According to the official notification, the online application process began on May 8, 2026. Candidates can complete and submit their forms until June 7, 2026, up to 5 PM. The last date for successful fee payment via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI is June 7, 2026, until 11:50 PM. NTA has also provided a correction window for applicants who need to edit details in their forms. The correction facility will be open from June 9 to June 10, 2026.
ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 Exam Date
The ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) 2026 examinations will be conducted on July 4, 2026, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination will be held in nearly 122 cities across the country, providing students from multiple regions the opportunity to appear for this national-level agriculture entrance test. Officials have stated that the examination will be conducted in English only.
Exam Pattern and Duration
The entrance examination will consist of objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates will have two hours (120 minutes) to complete the paper. The test will cover subjects related to agricultural and allied sciences for postgraduate and doctoral admissions.

- Pay the application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- After filling the application form, review all the details provided.
- Submit the Application Form and download the confirmation page.
- Take a printout of the Application Form and Fee Receipt.
