Guwahati: The University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has launched the USTM Mega Summer Internship Programme, 2026 (UMSIP-2026) with the aim of strengthening academic exposure, practical learning, and research orientation for undergraduate and postgraduate students across the Northeast region.
Programme Details and Support
Organised with support from the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of USTM, the programme offers hands-on training, industry exposure, and interdisciplinary learning through mentorship from faculty members and domain experts. University officials stated that the internship has been carefully developed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.
Eligibility and Application
Participation is expected from students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, management, the humanities, and allied fields. The last date to submit applications is June 10, 2026. Interested students are encouraged to apply early to secure their place in this transformative programme.
