In a significant development for industry-academia collaboration, the Department of Applied Chemistry at the Faculty of Technology and Engineering, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU), has inaugurated a comprehensively renovated MSc laboratory. This transformative project was executed under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, marking a substantial investment in educational infrastructure.

The laboratory renovation represents a major upgrade, facilitated through an in-kind contribution valued at Rs 40 lakh from Sun Pharma. The initiative was spearheaded by alumnus Piyush Parekh, a 2001 batch graduate who currently serves as Manager – R&D in the ADL department at Sun Pharma.
