Elections for the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) Faculty Forum concluded on Saturday, with the results ushering in a fresh team to represent the institute's esteemed teachers' body. High Voter Turnout and Election Results

Election officer Prof Uttam Kumar officially announced that 141 faculty members exercised their voting rights, demonstrating robust engagement in the democratic process. Dr Mohan Gurjar, a distinguished professor in the department of critical care medicine, was elected as the president of the Faculty Forum. In a smooth electoral process, the positions of secretary and treasurer were filled unopposed. Dr Vivek Singh from the radiodiagnosis department secured the secretary role, while Dr Vijai Dutt Upadhyaya from paediatric surgery was elected as treasurer.
