Northern Chapter of Old Cottonians Association to Host Grand Alumni Meet in Chandigarh
The Northern Chapter of the Old Cottonians Association (OCA) is set to host a grand alumni meet this Saturday, February 7, bringing together former students of Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, for a day filled with sports and engagement activities. This event aims to celebrate lifelong bonds and strengthen the alumni network across the Tricity region of Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula.
Event Schedule and Highlights
The day will kick off with the annual golf tournament, providing a competitive yet friendly start to the festivities. Following this, a friendly cricket match is scheduled between the Old Cottonians XI ‘A' and XI ‘B' teams at the Mahajan Cricket Ground, located in Kishangarh near the IT Park. This match promises to be a highlight, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among the alumni.
Taranvir Guron, president of the OCA (India) Northern Chapter, emphasized the meet's goal to reconnect former students and enhance the alumni community in the area. He stated that such events are crucial for maintaining the strong ties formed during school years and supporting each other in professional and personal endeavors.

The celebrations will culminate with a formal drinks and dinner evening starting at 8 PM at The Club House in the IAS Officer's Colony, New Chandigarh.
