University's Revamped Consultancy Policy Drives Engagement

The success of this training program is part of a larger effort by Lucknow University to actively engage in consultancy projects. Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. JP Saini, the university has revamped its consultancy policy, providing a fresh boost to such initiatives. This policy encourages teachers to participate in consultancy projects alongside their teaching and research activities, fostering a culture of practical application of academic knowledge.

According to management department teachers, this revamped policy has motivated faculty members to take on more consultancy roles, thereby contributing to real-world organizational needs. The training for India Post officials is a prime example of how academic institutions can play a pivotal role in enhancing public sector capabilities.

Future Implications and Continued Collaboration

The management department at Lucknow University plans to continue its role in bridging academic expertise with administrative requirements through similar impactful consultancy programs. By focusing on areas like professional development and technical training, the university aims to support various sectors in adapting to evolving challenges.

This training not only benefits India Post by improving its service delivery and market position but also reinforces Lucknow University's commitment to societal contribution through education and consultancy. As competition from private postal services intensifies, such initiatives are crucial for public sector entities to remain relevant and efficient.
