Kolkata: Jadavpur University (JU) will honor its distinguished alumni who have made significant contributions to various fields through a new award initiative. The Distinguished Alumni-JU award will be conferred in five categories: Academic & Research, Corporate Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Public Life & Philanthropy, and Arts, Literature & Creative Expression.
Objective of the Award
The award aims to recognize the achievements of JU graduates who have excelled in their respective domains. Vice-Chancellor Chiranjib Bhattacharjee stated, "It will foster a more vibrant and enduring relationship with graduates across generations." The initiative seeks to strengthen the bond between the university and its alumni, encouraging continued collaboration and support.
