IIM Indore Celebrates Graduation of First MMS Batch and BA Programme Students
The Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) conducted its graduation ceremony on Saturday, marking a significant academic milestone with the passing out of its inaugural Executive Management Programme - Master of Management Studies (MMS) batch alongside Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) graduates. A total of 135 students received their degrees during the ceremony, comprising 73 participants from the pioneering MMS programme and 62 from the BA (Foundations of Management) course. The graduation of the first MMS cohort represents a key achievement in IIM Indore's strategic academic diversification, aimed at addressing evolving industry demands and leadership development needs.
Director's Address on Navigating Modern Challenges
IIM Indore Director Himanshu Rai addressed the graduating students, faculty members, and staff present at the ceremony. He characterized the contemporary world as increasingly BANI: brittle, anxious, nonlinear and incomprehensible. In his speech, Rai emphasized that graduates must cultivate specific qualities to succeed in this complex environment:

"In such a reality, you must respond with bravery, adaptability, networking and introspection to navigate uncertainty and lead with resilience," Rai advised the graduating cohort.
