Buxar Engineering College Honors Top Performers on National Science Day

Govt Engineering College in Buxar commemorated National Science Day this Saturday with a special prize distribution ceremony, recognizing students who achieved outstanding results in the "Sir C V Raman Talent Search Test in Science-2026." The event highlighted the academic prowess of participants from classes VI to XII, fostering a spirit of scientific inquiry and achievement.

Recognition for District and State-Level Achievers

Nodal officer for National Science Day and assistant professor Ramdayal Kushwaha detailed the awards structure. Students who secured first and second positions at the district level were honored with merit certificates and prize money during a state-level function held in Patna. Additionally, those achieving third, fourth, and fifth positions at the district level received cash prizes of Rs 800, Rs 700, and Rs 600 respectively, along with medals and certificates presented at the college campus in Buxar.

Further recognition extended to students placed from sixth to tenth positions, who were awarded consolation certificates and medals, encouraging continued participation and effort in scientific endeavors.

State-Level Honors and Technological Incentives

At the state-level ceremony in Patna, a total of 21 state toppers from classes VI to XII were awarded laptops, providing them with valuable tools to advance their studies and research. This initiative underscores the commitment to supporting young talent in science and technology fields.
