Marking Scheme and Score Evaluation

What Happens After the Written Examination?

Following the completion of the answer key review process, SSC will announce the final answer key and results. Candidates who meet the required cut-off marks will proceed to the next stages of selection. The subsequent phases include the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), both of which are mandatory qualifying stages in the recruitment process. Aspirants should keep all relevant documents ready and regularly monitor official announcements for updates regarding result dates, cut-offs, physical test schedules, and further recruitment-related instructions.

Answer Key Objection Process

Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key will be allowed to challenge specific answers during the objection period. The expected objection fee ranges between Rs 50 and Rs 100 per question. After reviewing all valid representations, the Staff Selection Commission will issue the final answer key. The revised answers will form the basis for result preparation and candidate shortlisting for the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test.

How to Access the Answer Key

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to upload the tentative answer key along with candidates' responses for transparency.
