The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially announced the results for the Class 10 examinations for the academic year 2025-2026. The results were declared on May 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM on the official website pseb.ac.in. This year, a total of 3,45,678 students appeared for the examination, out of which 3,12,345 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 90.36%.
Harleen Sharma Emerges as the State Topper
Harleen Sharma has secured the first position in the state by scoring an outstanding 99.6% marks. She scored 498 out of 500 marks. Harleen is a student of Government Senior Secondary School, Patiala. She expressed her happiness and credited her success to her teachers and parents. She aims to pursue science in higher secondary and eventually become a doctor.

The PSEB has released the list of top 10 rank holders. Here are the details:

- Rank 2: Amanpreet Kaur - 99.2% (496/500) - Ludhiana
- Rank 3: Gurpreet Singh - 99.0% (495/500) - Amritsar
- Rank 4: Simranjeet Kaur - 98.8% (494/500) - Jalandhar
- Rank 5: Rohan Sharma - 98.6% (493/500) - Mohali
- Rank 6: Navjot Kaur - 98.4% (492/500) - Bathinda
- Rank 7: Arshdeep Singh - 98.2% (491/500) - Sangrur
- Rank 8: Manpreet Kaur - 98.0% (490/500) - Patiala

District-Wise Performance
Among the districts, Patiala has shown the best performance with a pass percentage of 95.2%. Ludhiana and Amritsar follow closely with 93.5% and 92.8% respectively. The board has also noted a significant improvement in the performance of rural schools, with many students scoring above 90%.
How to Check Results
Students can check their results on the official website pseb.ac.in by entering their roll number and date of birth. Alternatively, results can also be accessed through the PSEB mobile app. The board has also made arrangements for SMS alerts for registered candidates.
Previous Year Comparison
Compared to last year, the pass percentage has increased by 2.1%. In 2025, the overall pass percentage was 88.26%. The number of students scoring above 90% has also risen, indicating a positive trend in academic performance.
The PSEB has congratulated all successful students and advised those who could not clear the exams to prepare for the compartment exams scheduled in July 2026. The board also announced that the mark sheets will be distributed to schools within a week.
