The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has officially announced the results for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) and High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations for the year 2026. The results were released on April 24, 2026, and are now available on the official website of NBSE.
Overall Pass Percentages
This year, the HSSLC (Class 12) examination recorded a pass percentage of 85.46%, while the HSLC (Class 10) examination saw a pass rate of 72.07%. These figures reflect the performance of students across the state.
Subject-wise Performance
In the HSSLC exams, students performed exceptionally well in subjects like English, Economics, and Political Science. Meanwhile, in HSLC, Mathematics and Science saw notable improvement compared to previous years.
How to Check Results
Students can check their results by visiting the official NBSE website at nbse.nagaland.gov.in. They need to enter their roll number and date of birth to access their scorecards. Results are also available via SMS and mobile apps for convenience.
Toppers and Merit List
The board has also released the list of top-performing students. In HSSLC, the top three positions are held by students from Kohima and Dimapur. The HSLC toppers hail from various districts, showcasing widespread academic excellence.
Supplementary Exams
For students who did not clear the examinations, NBSE will conduct supplementary exams in June 2026. Detailed schedules and application procedures will be published on the official website shortly.
Students are advised to download and save their mark sheets for future reference. Original certificates will be issued by respective schools in due course.
