45 Students Triumph in UPPCS-2024 Through Social Welfare Free Coaching Schemes
In a significant achievement, forty-five students have successfully cleared the prestigious UPPCS-2024 examinations after preparing under the free coaching and guidance schemes offered by the social welfare department. This accomplishment highlights the effectiveness of government initiatives in supporting aspirants from underprivileged backgrounds.

Social Welfare Minister of State (Independent Charge) Asim Arun extended his heartfelt congratulations to the selected candidates. He emphasized that their success serves as a powerful inspiration for future generations, demonstrating that with the right guidance and support, any goal can be achieved. The minister's remarks underscore the department's commitment to empowering students through accessible educational resources.
Breakdown of Coaching Centers and Programmes
Of the successful candidates, thirty-five prepared at the Pre-Examination Training Centre located at Lucknow's Bhagidari Bhawan, as well as at various centers under the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana. An additional ten candidates benefited from the mock interview programme specifically designed under the Abhyudaya Yojana.
Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department, Anand Kumar Singh, provided a detailed breakdown of the enrollment figures. He reported that sixteen candidates were enrolled in the residential coaching programme at Bhagidari Coaching, eight prepared at the Adarsh Pariksha Kendra in Aliganj, four at the Government IAS/PCS Coaching Centre in Hapur, and seventeen were supported under the Abhyudaya Yojana.
Comprehensive Support for Underprivileged Students
The coaching programmes administered by the Ministry of Social Welfare offer extensive support to candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. These initiatives provide free residential facilities, meals, access to libraries, and a combination of online and offline classes along with test papers to ensure thorough preparation.
In addition to core examination preparation, special sessions are organized for interview training. During these sessions, candidates receive valuable guidance from subject experts and senior IAS and PCS officers, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to excel in the final stages of the selection process.
