The University of Mumbai has extended the registration deadline for undergraduate (UG) admissions for the academic year 2026 until May 23. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official admission portal, samarth.edu.in.

PG Admissions 2026

Alongside UG admissions, Mumbai University has also initiated the application process for postgraduate (PG) programs for 2026. Students can submit PG admission forms until May 26, and the first merit list for PG courses will be released on June 3.

The university is offering admissions to three-year undergraduate programmes, four-year honours with research courses, and five-year integrated UG and PG programmes under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines.

  • Last date for admission forms at college level (online and offline): May 23
  • Last date for pre-admission online registration: May 23 until 11:59 pm
  • Submission of admission forms along with pre-admission online forms: May 23
  • Completion of in-house and minority quota admissions: May 23

Merit List Dates

  • First merit list: May 26 at 11 am
  • Document verification and fee payment for first list: May 27 to May 29 until 3 pm
  • Second merit list: May 30 until 7 pm
  • Document verification and fee payment for second list: June 1 to June 3 until 3 pm
  • Third merit list: June 4 at 7 pm
  • Document verification and fee payment for third list: June 5 to June 9
  • Commencement of classes and orientation: June 13
