  3. Interview: Candidates who qualify the main exam are called for a psychometric test and interview. Final selection is based on the combined score of main exam and interview.

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of Rs. 41,960 per month (in the scale of Rs. 36,000-63,840). Additional allowances include Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Medical Insurance, and other perks as per SBI rules. The approximate gross emoluments at the initial stage are around Rs. 8-10 lakh per annum.

To crack the SBI PO exam, candidates should focus on time management and practice mock tests. The preliminary exam requires speed and accuracy, while the main exam demands in-depth knowledge.
