UP Board Results 2025: Girls Outperform Boys with 93.28% Pass Rate

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the High School examination results for 2025, and the trend of female students outperforming their male counterparts continues. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 93.28%, while boys recorded 86.24%, reflecting a strong academic performance across all districts.

Historic Achievement in Board Exams

Board secretary Bhagwati Singh announced that the overall pass percentage for High School stood at 89.55%, the highest in the board's history. He attributed this success to the students' hard work, timely completion of the examination process, and transparent evaluation. Singh emphasized that discipline and efficiency maintained throughout the examination cycle contributed significantly to this strong performance.

Comparison with Historical Lows

This year's achievement appears even more striking when compared to the board's historical lows. In 1992, the High School pass percentage had plummeted to just 14.70%, one of the weakest performances in its history. That year, only 8.47% of boys passed, while girls recorded 36.44%.
