PSEB Announces One-Time Mercy Chance Exam for Class 10, 12 Failures
PSEB Mercy Chance Exam for Class 10, 12 Students

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced a one-time mercy chance examination for students who were unable to clear their Class 10 or Class 12 board exams over the years. The online registration process began on April 27 and is now open on the board's official website.

Purpose of the Mercy Chance

This special provision aims to give a final opportunity to candidates who had previously fallen short, allowing them to complete their school education and move forward academically or professionally.

Eligibility Criteria

As per the notice published by the board, the scheme applies to all candidates enrolled either in regular or open schools who sat for the PSEB exams from March 2010 to March 2025. However, there is an important criterion: the candidate must have passed at least one subject in their previous attempt.

Types of Eligible Candidates

  • Those who have exhausted all their chances of passing the compartment or reappearing exams
  • Students who failed but were able to pass at least one subject in their main examination

Application Process

The application process has been kept straightforward. Candidates are required to visit the official PSEB website and access the examination form along with detailed guidelines. Applicants must enter their previous roll number, fill in personal details, select subjects they wish to reappear for, and complete the payment process.

The board has clearly stated that incomplete applications, especially those without successful fee payment, will not be accepted. Students are advised to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid technical issues at the last moment.

This mercy chance is a one-time opportunity for students to clear their pending subjects and obtain their board certificates, enabling them to pursue higher education or career opportunities.
