NEET UG Re-exam Result 2026 Expected Next Month: Check Tentative Date

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the result for the NEET UG re-examination 2026 next month. According to sources, the tentative date for the declaration of the re-NEET result is around the third week of July 2026. Candidates who appeared for the re-exam can check their scores on the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

Re-exam Conducted for Affected Candidates

The NEET UG re-examination was conducted on June 20, 2026, for candidates who were affected by technical glitches or other issues during the main exam held on May 3, 2026. Over 2,500 candidates appeared for the re-exam across 10 cities in India. The NTA had announced the re-exam after receiving multiple complaints regarding server errors and time loss during the main test.

What’s Next After Result?

After the result is announced, the NTA will release the final answer key and the All India Rank (AIR) list. The score obtained in the re-exam will be considered for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses for the academic year 2026-27. The counselling process is expected to begin in August 2026, conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% All India Quota seats, and by respective state authorities for state quota seats.

According to an NTA official, “The re-exam was conducted smoothly, and we are processing the results. Candidates will be able to access their scorecards by the third week of July.” The official also advised candidates to regularly check the official website for updates.
