The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially announced the HSC Result 2026, revealing an overall pass percentage of 89.79%. The results for the Class 12 examinations will be accessible online from 12 noon through the board's official platforms.
Examination Overview
The HSC examinations were conducted from February 10 to March 18, 2026. A total of 14,44,713 students appeared for the exams, out of which 14,33,058 candidates successfully passed. This year's pass percentage marks a decline of 2.09% compared to the previous year's figure of 91.88%.
Gender-Wise Performance
Girls have once again outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 93.15%, while boys recorded 86.80%. The gender gap in performance remains consistent with historical trends observed by the board.
Division-Wise Results
Among the nine divisional boards, the Konkan division secured the highest pass percentage at 94.14%, while the Latur division recorded the lowest at 84.14%. This variation highlights regional differences in academic performance across Maharashtra.

The HSC 2026 examinations were conducted across 3,387 centres, utilising 61,484 classrooms. Over 15 lakh students appeared for the exams across Science, Arts, Commerce, Vocational, and ITI streams, reflecting the large scale of the state-level assessment process.
Result Access and Marksheet Details
Students can access their results online through official websites and digital platforms. The online marksheets provided after the declaration are provisional. Candidates must collect original mark sheets from their respective junior colleges after the board completes distribution. Digital marksheets include subject-wise marks and can be used for initial admission procedures. Processes such as verification of marks, photocopies of answer sheets, and re-evaluation will be conducted through the board's official system as per prescribed guidelines.
