MP Board Class 10th Result 2026 Released: Comprehensive Guide for Students
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially declared the Class 10 results for the 2026 academic session. The announcement was made at 11:00 AM, with over 9 lakh students eagerly awaiting their scores. This year, approximately 9.07 lakh candidates appeared for the examinations, which were conducted across 3,856 centres statewide to ensure a smooth and fair process.
How to Access Your MP Board Class 10 Results
Students can check their marks through multiple digital platforms to avoid congestion and ensure easy access. The primary methods include:
- Official Websites: Visit mpbse.mponline.gov.in, mpresults.nic.in, or mpbse.nic.in. On the homepage, select the Class 10 result link, enter your roll number and application number, and view or download your marksheet.
- Mobile Applications: Use the MPBSE mobile app or MP Mobile app. Download the app, choose the 'Know Your Result' option, and input your credentials for instant access.
- DigiLocker: Access certified digital copies of your marksheet on DigiLocker, which serve as provisional records until original certificates are issued.
It is crucial to have your roll number and application number ready, as these login credentials are mandatory to view results. Without them, the system will not display any information.
Examination Details and Pass Criteria
The MPBSE implemented strict monitoring measures, including CCTV surveillance and flying squads, to maintain integrity during the exams. Despite these efforts, around 100 cheating cases were reported, with Morena and Bhopal recording the highest incidents. To pass, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject. Those failing to meet this requirement will need to reappear under the board's second examination system.
Historical Performance and Trends
Recent years show fluctuating pass percentages for Class 10. In 2025, the overall pass rate was 76.22%, with girls outperforming boys at 79.27% compared to 73.21%. Previous years recorded 58.10% in 2024, 63.29% in 2023, and 53.78% in 2022. These trends provide context for evaluating this year's results, which will include a topper list announced during the official press conference.
Second Examination and Best of Two Policy
The MPBSE has introduced a revised second examination system, replacing supplementary exams. All students are eligible to reappear, either to clear failed subjects or improve scores. Under the 'Best of Two' rule, the higher mark from either attempt is considered for the final marksheet per subject, ensuring no disadvantage if performance declines in the retake.
Re-evaluation and Result Management
Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation by submitting a form and paying the required fee. Once rechecked, revised marks are final. It is advised to download and retain a copy of the provisional marksheet from official platforms for future reference, as these digital documents are valid until original certificates are distributed.
