Jamia Class 12 Results: 92% Pass, Girls Lead

Jamia Millia Islamia announced its Class 12 board exam results for the 2025–26 academic session on Monday, with an overall pass percentage of 92 per cent. Girls performed better than boys across all three streams: Science, Commerce, and Arts.

Stream-wise Performance

In the Science stream, 94.84 per cent of girls passed the exam, compared to 91.4 per cent of boys. The gap was wider in Commerce, where 92.77 per cent of girls cleared the exam, while the pass percentage for boys stood at 85.27 per cent. In the Arts stream, girls again led with a pass percentage of 97.64 per cent, while 88.77 per cent of boys passed, according to official data reported by news agency PTI.

Top Performers

Among the toppers, Saima Rizwee from Jamia Senior Secondary School secured the first position in the Science stream with 98.8 per cent. In Commerce, Mohd Sahil Saifi from the same school topped with 97.4 per cent. In Arts, Kashifa from Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School secured the top position with 98.2 per cent.

Affiliation and Result Declaration

The schools are affiliated with the Jamia board and follow the CBSE pattern. The results were declared by Vice Chancellor Mazhar Asif, Registrar Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, and Controller of Examinations Ahteshamul Haque, in the presence of university officials and school principals. The officials said the timely declaration of results would help students applying for university admissions and preparing for competitive entrance exams.
