The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the merit list for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2 2025. This list pertains to courses that are scheduled to commence in June 2026 at the Air Force Academy (AFA). Candidates who have successfully completed the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) process can now view their names and ranks in the merit list published by the IAF.

According to the released list, a total of 744 candidates have been shortlisted across various entry categories. The breakdown is as follows: 380 candidates from the AFCAT male category, 226 from the female category, 106 from the Aeronautical Engineering (AE) branch, 23 from the NCC Special Entry category, and nine from the Service Entry Commission category.
It is important to note that being included in the merit list does not automatically guarantee admission to the course. Final selection will depend on medical fitness, the candidate's merit position, and the availability of vacancies.
Top Rankers in Each Category
Among the top-ranked candidates, Alok Singh secured the first position in the AFCAT male category, while Mehakpreet Kaur topped the female category. In the AE branch, Saurabh Saini achieved the highest rank among male candidates, and Suhani topped the female category. The NCC Special Entry category saw Rahul Kumar secure the top position among male candidates, while Riddhi Malhotra ranked first among female candidates. In the Service Entry Commission category, Pradeep Kumar secured the top rank.

Candidates whose names appear in the merit list are advised to keep checking official Indian Air Force updates regarding the next stages of the admission process. To check the merit list, follow these steps:
- Visit the official AFCAT website.
- Go to the "What's New" section on the homepage.
- Click on the link titled "ORDER OF MERIT OF ALL AFSB RECOMMENDED CANDIDATES: Jun 26 Course(s)".
- The merit list PDF will open. Press Ctrl+F and enter your roll number to search for your name.
- Download and save the PDF for future reference.
