The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially released the Class 12 (Plus Two) examination results today, May 4, 2026. Students can now access their scorecards on the official website hpbose.org. The overall pass percentage stands at an impressive 92.02%.
Overall Performance
A total of 81,417 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 74,637 students successfully passed. The number of students who failed is 3,352. The gender distribution shows that female candidates have marginally higher pass counts compared to male candidates.
Top Rank Holders
The Board has released the overall merit list along with stream-wise toppers for Science, Commerce, and Arts. The top ranks this year show minimal gaps in marks, with ties across multiple positions. Rank 2 and Rank 5 are shared by more than one student, indicating a compressed scoring band among high performers.

District and School Representation
Kangra district accounts for multiple positions within the top five ranks, including the top rank. However, the list also includes students from Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Mandi, and Solan.
