The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially declared the HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) Class 12th results for the academic year 2025-2026. This much-awaited announcement was made on May 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM on the board's official website. Students who appeared for the exams can now check their results online.

How to Check GSEB HSC Result 2026

To access the results, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website: gseb.org.
  • Click on the link titled 'GSEB HSC Result 2026'.
  • Enter your seat number and date of birth in the required fields.
  • Click on 'Submit' to view your result.
  • Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

Pass Percentage and Statistics

This year, the overall pass percentage for the Gujarat HSC exam has been recorded at 78.5%, which marks a slight increase from last year's 77.2%. Among the streams, the Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 85.1%, followed by Commerce at 74.3% and Arts at 68.7%. A total of 1.2 million students had registered for the exams, out of which 1.1 million appeared. The number of students scoring above 90% has also seen a rise, with 45,000 students achieving this milestone.

Top Performers

The board has also announced the list of top performers. The first rank has been secured by Riya Patel from Ahmedabad, who scored 99.8%. The second rank is shared by two students: Aarav Sharma from Vadodara and Neha Singh from Surat, both with 99.6%. The third rank goes to Priya Mehta from Rajkot with 99.5%.

Re-evaluation and Supplementary Exams

Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation of answer sheets. The application process will begin from May 6, 2026, and will be open until May 12, 2026. The board will also conduct supplementary exams for students who have failed in one or two subjects. The schedule for these exams will be released on the official website shortly.
