The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) has officially initiated the recounting and re-verification process for the SSC Public Examinations conducted in March 2026. This step follows the declaration of the AP SSC result 2026, which was announced on April 30, 2026, at 11 am. Candidates who wish to have their answer scripts reviewed can now submit applications through their respective schools within the specified timeline.

AP SSC Result 2026 Highlights

The overall pass percentage for the AP SSC examinations in 2026 stands at 85.25 percent, marking a notable increase from the previous year's 81.14 percent. Female students outperformed their male counterparts, with a pass percentage of 87.90 percent, while male students achieved 82.68 percent. The examinations were conducted from March 16 to April 1, 2026, across the state. The results were announced during a press conference by Education Minister Nara Lokesh, who also shared details on district-wise performance and topper information.

Recounting and Re-verification Application Process

The recounting and re-verification facility is available through school logins from May 1, 2026, to May 7, 2026. Students are required to approach their respective schools to submit applications, as individual direct submission is not enabled. School authorities will process the applications on behalf of candidates via the designated online system. A user manual has been provided within the application interface to assist school officials in completing the procedure smoothly.

Fee Structure and Payment Details

The prescribed fee for recounting is Rs 500 per subject, while re-verification costs Rs 1,000 per subject. Payments must be made exclusively through the online payment gateway available on the official BSEAP website. Accepted payment methods include debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and UPI. The board has clarified that payments made through CFMS Citizen Challan will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Access to Answer Scripts Expanded

For candidates applying for re-verification, the board continues to provide answer scripts through school logins. Additionally, scanned copies of answer scripts will be made available via WhatsApp Governance using the Mana Mitra service. This new facility allows candidates to download their answer scripts directly through their registered WhatsApp number, thereby expanding access beyond the school login system.

Previous Year Performance Trends

In the previous academic year, 6,14,459 students appeared for the examination, with 4,98,585 passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 81.14 percent. The pass percentage has shown a positive trend over recent years: 89.64 percent in 2024, 72.26 percent in 2023, and 64.02 percent in 2022. School heads have been instructed to inform all eligible candidates about the recounting and re-verification schedule and ensure timely submission of applications within the specified deadline.

Students can access their marks memo through official websites including bse.ap.gov.in and results.bse.ap.gov.in, as well as through DigiLocker, WhatsApp services, and mobile applications. The Times of India also provides an online platform for checking results.
