The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) is yet to announce the official date for the AP SSC Result 2026, even as speculation intensifies across websites and social media. The Department of Government Examinations has rejected reports claiming the results would be declared on April 25, 2026, terming them false and misleading.
Official Clarification on Result Date Rumours
The School Education Department issued a formal clarification dismissing reports circulating on Manabadi and other websites regarding a supposed result date. Senior officials described such reports as false and misleading, urging students and parents to rely only on notifications from official channels. In a separate communication, the Department of Government Examinations warned against the spread of misinformation through WhatsApp groups and social media. Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, and Academic Grade Cluster Educational Officers have been directed to inform students and schools not to rely on unverified claims. Officials have also been instructed to monitor online groups and prevent the circulation of misleading reports. The department further stated that legal action could be initiated against individuals found spreading false information regarding the AP SSC result 2026.
Student Numbers and Examination Details
A total of 6,40,916 candidates appeared for the AP SSC examinations this year, comprising 6,22,074 regular students and 18,842 private candidates. Among them were 3,28,652 boys and 3,12,264 girls. The AP SSC Public Examinations 2026 were conducted in pen-and-paper mode from March 16 to April 1, 2026. Students who appeared will need their hall ticket number or roll number to access the result online once the direct link is activated.
Minimum Passing Marks and Supplementary Exams
To qualify, candidates must secure at least 35 marks out of 100 in each subject. The 35 per cent minimum requirement applies separately to theory and practical components, where applicable. Students failing to secure the minimum marks in any paper will be eligible to appear in supplementary examinations.
How to Check AP SSC Result 2026 Online
Students can access the AP SSC result by visiting bse.ap.gov.in and selecting the AP SSC Results 2026 link on the homepage. After entering the hall ticket number, date of birth, or other required credentials along with the captcha code, candidates will be able to view their scorecard. The online result is expected to include the student's name, roll number, date of birth, school name, subject-wise marks, total marks, grades, and qualification status.
Alternative Access Methods
Apart from official websites, students may access results through DigiLocker, the Mana Mitra WhatsApp service, and the LEAP mobile application. These alternatives may help candidates during heavy traffic on the main portals after declaration. Some third-party result websites may also provide a name-wise search facility, though the primary official method remains hall ticket-based access.
Downloading Marks Memo and Provisional Certificate
After submitting login details, students can download the digital marks memo and take a printout for reference. The online marks memo will serve as a provisional document until original certificates are issued through schools. Students may also receive result access through SMS-based services or mobile applications in the event of heavy server load. The grading structure will include categories such as A1, A2, and B1, reflecting marks secured and grade points awarded.
Post-Result Services
Students unsatisfied with their marks will be able to apply for recounting or re-verification through BSEAP by paying the prescribed fee within the notified deadline. If discrepancies are found in the marks memo, candidates have been advised to contact their schools or the board for correction.
