AP SSC 2026 Result: 85.25% Pass, Girls Lead

The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) has officially announced the SSC Class 10 results for 2026, revealing an overall pass percentage of 85.25%. This year, a total of 6,18,131 students appeared for the examination, out of which 5,26,954 candidates have successfully passed.

Historical Pass Percentage Trends

Looking at past performance, SSC pass percentages in Andhra Pradesh remained consistently above 90% until 2019. During the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, the pass percentage reached 100%. However, with the resumption of regular examinations in 2022, the pass percentage experienced a sharp decline to 67.26%. Since then, the results have shown a gradual recovery, culminating in the 2026 figure of 85.25%.

Girls Continue to Outperform Boys

Girls have once again outperformed boys in the SSC results this year. The pass percentage among girls stands at 87.90%, while boys recorded 82.68%. This creates a gap of 5.22 percentage points, continuing a trend observed over the past several years. Across most districts, girls have maintained higher pass percentages, significantly contributing to the overall state performance.

District-Wise Performance

Parvathipuram Manyam has emerged as the top-performing district with a pass percentage of 96.07%. It is closely followed by Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema at 95.85%. At the other end, Alluri Sitharama Raju district recorded the lowest pass percentage at 57.12%. Several districts such as Vizianagaram, Prakasam, and Srikakulam reported pass percentages above 90%.

Next Steps for Students

Students who have passed will receive their SSC certificates through their respective schools. Headmasters have been instructed to verify and distribute the certificates directly. For those seeking re-evaluation, the recounting and reverification window will remain open from May 1 to May 7, 2026. The Advanced Supplementary Examinations are scheduled to be held from May 25 to June 4, offering students an additional opportunity to improve their scores.
